METRO ARQUITETURA / Scope

Nox Nightclub

Metro Arquitetura is a young Recife-based studio, formed by architects João Domingos Azevedo, Rafael Souto Maior and Lívia Brandão.

The studio’s production is based on a close relationship with their clients, looking beyond their expectations through creative and ingenious projects, but always aligned to their physical and budget realities.

We search in our projects to interpret the concerns of the society we live in, as a way to produce a cutting-edge architecture tailor made to our time.

Create and explore new concepts, breakdown paradigms, investigate and use new technologies, are always targets to be achieved. An appropriate design to the local reality _where the territorial context, climate, building technology and budget can not be disregarded_ is also a main concern.

The studio operates in several segments, ranging from the design of objects and interior architecture, through residential and commercial projects, design of complex buildings and urban renewal. Our production is mainly local, with projects in the metropolitan area of Recife and the state of Pernambuco, but our work is starting to cross borders, reaching other states and also abroad.

Metro Arquitetura has the practice to develop projects in partnerships with other offices as a way to generate a rich exchange of experiences.
